Stress release exercise

  1. Get into a comfortable position and take 3 long, deep breaths to centre and focus your energy.
  2. Focus your eyes on a soft spot on the wall until your eyes become strained and you cannot hold them open any longer.
  3. Close your eyes and imagine you are standing in a beautiful garden in front of a bed of yellow roses.  Go ahead touch a rose đŸŒč and notice the velvety texture.  Imagine you could step inside the happy 😊 colour, this soft yellow, and allow it to become a part of your energy. 
  4. Breathe deeply, in and out and see if you can smell the beautiful fragrance.
  5. Once you feel that you are relaxed 😎  and calm, you can then give yourself some positive suggestions such as:

How does the mind drive your body

I have been asked from my friends and potential clients many times about how hypnotherapy can change what happens with your body, thoughts, habits etc.  But it’s real simple.

No-one forces us to make the choices we make, consciously we do things every day I mean if you want to do some shopping you consciously think what you need and buy it, but driving.  How many of us have sat chatting to people in our car whilst driving, you don’t even think about it, your subconscious just takes over whilst you are thinking and processing the conversation between you and your friend.  Many a time I have driven back from a long distance journey and don’t remember most of it.  You go into a trance for most of it, just staring out the window, perhaps with the radio on?

Your brain controls everything.  If you get a cut on your hand, your brain decides to heal the cut, so why can’t we use the brain to heal other things going on in our life.  Positive thinking helps too.  I’m busily using my hypnotherapy and learning how to meditate to heal my degenerating spine.

Your brain controls what you eat and whether you choose a healthy lifestyle or unhealthy one, but you can make a decision to change your life.  You don’t have to stay unhealthy.  I recently quit drinking back in January as I didn’t want to add to my spine’s health issues with polluting my body with alcohol I wanna get my fitness levels back this year.  My choice no-one else.

Now I know the cravings can be hard when you are changing to remain healthy, the subconscious creeping into the conscious mind.  But by combining hypnotherapy and CBT style homework to change the conscious mind, plus NLP homework, i.e. documenting positive goals, changing how you process information you CAN change.

I went from the number 1 party girl and living for going out at the weekends to now never would I would pollute my body or spend weekends in bad company with unhealthy people anymore.  I used hypnotherapy, intense sessions, weekly and also setting myself homework.

It amazes me as to how many people would rather life their only life unhappy due to issues and negativity when you can use the power within yourselves to help you get what you want and what we ALL deserve.
